oh my sweet boy.

the other day mamma was getting ready for Miss A's wedding.

I was having a hard time finding something to wear.
so i threw on jeans (something i rarely wear because i hate them! i love my tights and yoga pants! clearly, you know this.)
i walk out in jeans and a shirt, with brushed hair and a brown crochetred oversized sweater. looking...normal? you look up and stare.
"erm...mahmee? um..."
"whats going on baby?" i ask looking for something. you continue to stammer.
"um...erm....uh...mahmee?" you get very bashful and unsure.
i look at you.
"what sweets?"
your smile is telling and sweet.
"you look pretty."

*heart melts*
"thank you sweet boy!" this then drives me to put on a dress instead. i walk out looking for the same sweater.
again, youre speechless.
"ohhhh. uh...mahmee?" you say excitedly. i respond.
"hmmm?" as i look for my sweater.
"i like that a lot. thats a better idea. youre so....pretty?" you say hurriedly.
*heart melts further*
i find sweater, and i put it on. you do not approve.
"um...mahmee? no. i dont like that idea. i dont want that."



my sweet boy, of less than 4 years, is giving me fashion advice.

and you were right.

youre just the best.
im so happy to have you on my arm for all of time. :)

we took you and moon to the corn maze yesterday with our friends and here are some pictures!

im just SO proud to be your mahmee.

i love ALL of these. you arent as willing to take pictures with me now that you are big enough to explore the world. but i love every one i can get. thanks for being my son.
