you are almost a big brother! we are a month from maya coming home and things are pretty crazy around the house. to refresh your memory; Dad's job was completely in limbo, Mom was stressed that school wasn't going to work out for her, EVERYTHING in the house was broken (at the same time!). You may not have known this at the time, but we were pretty worried we weren't gonna make ends meet. But with all that stress, with all that uncertainty, we still had each other. Whenever your Mom and I were getting freaked out, you had a knack of interrupting the moment and saying something so off the wall, so ridiculously intelligent for a 3yr old, that it helped defuse us and remind us why we were here.

You were getting brother practice with Elliott, and you were doing really good! at times, he got on your nerves but you seemed to have this understanding at 3 yrs old that we were helping him and Wes. You were complimenting of him when he did good things and you nurtured his behaviors...it was pretty incredible to observe. I could tell at a young age that you enjoyed teaching others. I really hope you two are buddies when you read this, like his dad and I are.
Now, lets talk about that little sister of yours, Maya. its pretty awesome how excited you are to see her. I've heard stories of toddlers who were sad that another child is coming and im sure we will be dealing with little jealousy spats here of there, but you are so genuinely excited to meet her and help out with her. Youre going to be an integral part of raising Maya and I am damn proud of that.
Till next time! I love you little man:)
