Went to the coast
With devin and uncle and mahmee. You got to see mahmees mom and danny and uncle chad! Uncle chad loves playing with you and he sometimes calls you genji...his nickname to you :) its cute. We were gonna leave for dinner and we got on your coat and you turned to chad, who was gonna stay at his house, and you said "come on uncle chad, let's go." And he was so touched he came with us :) how fun!

For no reason you started poking my face today saying "eeee owwww" every time. Then you wrapped your arms around my neck and said "I lob you mahmee." I asked "who is my baby?" You reply "judif!".

Judith
Mahmee was at work today and i talked to a woman named Judith.
Her husband had just passed away and i coudl tell she was sad.
I couldnt help but try to reach out to her, to hopefully help her smile.
I wasnt sure she would want me to talk to her, but i did it anyway.
I told her "i just have to tell you something that makes me smile" and she agreed.
"I have a son, a beautiful son, his name is Jude, and i have a habit of calling him Judith. I know i should stop, but i cant, it just happens." she lit up on the other end and laughed. she then told me when she was younger people began calling her Jude. I could tell that she seemed a bit more happy, and a little less stressed just telling me this simple story. and this opened up for us to talk and communicate more effectively to resolve her issue.
it was a small thing, and i know it didnt change her life any. but at the end of the call she says "tell Jude hi from Judith!".
it makes me smile to think about. and im going to remember miss Judith in my prayers : ]

As I tucked you and bunny in to watch dora I asked you "is bunny a good friend?" You repled "yesh" I then asked "is mahmee a good friend?" You replied "yeah". I then said "julian is a good friend!" And kissed your forehead...then you said to me "I love you!".
I think you're really starting to get the meaning of love.

first you didnt wanna sleep and we talked in bed until 130 am.
then we slept in today until 1230pm.
then we went to "breakfast" at iHop.
then we drove to see daddy before you and Miss sKari and mahmee went to the basketball game. even though we got frustrated that we couldnt find parking and we missed a bit of the game it was SO nice to cuddle with you while our blazers played.
then we saw the Blazers beat the Mavericks and when the confetti poured on the ground you screamed "mahmee, blazers make a mess!"
then we drove home, played basketball and sword fought with blazer boom sticks, and then i laid you down for sweet sleep.
im so excited for tomorrows shenanigans. lots of basketball and playing and cuddling.

Sleeping time.
When I laid you in your bed at daddys I heard a sweet little voice tell me "I want to lay with you". Of course I couldn't resist.
But as we lay together and you began rubbing my arm and then asked "I wanna hold your hand mahmee" I realized that even at 2 you were understanding tenderness.
I'm unbelievably proud of you. And here it is 9am and I'm going to have to wake you in a few to drive home...but I think ill just lay here with you a little longer.
