As I teach maya new things you and I have special moments. I frequently place maya's hands on others faces and say the name. Hands on my face "mammas face" then hers "mayas face" then yours "brothers face". I stopped today and put my hands on your sweet face saying "sonshines face" you responded without missing a beat with your hands on mine "my hearts face". Your love for me lifts me.

Every night before I go to sleep, as I pass your door I sneak in and kiss you again...because I need it :)

You asked if you could give me a tattoo. Then wrote "mom" on the very same tummy that carried you. Amongst these souvenirs you left on my worldly body you wrote this word...something so sweet in its nature it sits among the souvenirs of my soul. You also, without any help, wrote your version of "I <3 mom. I <3 dad". Then asked for help with mayas name and wrote underneath "maya <3 I". Yes baby. We DO love you.

nightly routine

now at night you give me a kiss...one that i so lovingly give to you so yuou can keep it safe til morning. today about 2 hours after we woke you got wide eyed and said "mahmee i forgot to give you back your kiss!" so sweet!

youre amazing with maya. you love to make her laugh. and now you and i tell each other "i big love you." "i big love you too!" it makes the simple i love you, that much more. i love you buggy.
