Letters.

Its amazing how good it can make a person feel to receive a letter. Today mahmee wrote to 10 kids who are very sick and could use some encouragement. We sent them stickers and pictures and notes of love. And we also wrote letters to uncle kyle, currently serving in the army, and 2 other soldiers we don't know, and we even included pictures you colored for them jude! You made "roads" and "slides" and "basketball hoops". Such a good heart. Uncle was so kind to draw pictures for two of the boys.

We pray every day for your health and hope to always be on the giving end.

We are so blessed with you both. We love you.

bless their hearts

mahmee learned today of a wonderful organization that we can send pictures to children who are really sick in a hospital.

Uncle drew a couple of cars today for the kids, and mahmee wrote letters.

im drawn to these children, as some of you may remember i am a huge advocate for st jude childrens hospital here in the u.s. but this organization helps to deliver messages and letters to children who are sick, and gives youj story and info on them.

some of them break my heart.

the memorial pages tear my heart apart.

but at least we can make a difference in their lives while they are here with us. how lucky we are to have their hearts.

And it is true! we should be so blessed to have their presence.

but what makes me sad is knowing that these things happen to a lot of kids.

and sometimes the littles go see our Heaven Daddy, who picked your Mahmee and Daddy out just for you, and i hope i dont have to see you go for a long time.

just know that no matter what, you can never lose my love. you will always be my little boy.

you sneakily goes to get the remote & turn to see if im watching, which i am. it makes me laugh.
i say "okay ONE MORE"
you look back and responds. "okay. 2."
i say "noooo one more baby." laughing
you say "okay. two more word worlds."
"one." i say. stifling laughter.
"okay.2." all with a matter of fact nod that tells me that im in for it come teenage years if you have already figured out that humor is the way to get to mahmee.

i love you so incredibly much.

but you only get one more word world.

by the way. we played the BEST game of tag today. you outlasted me.:]

haha funny baby

You came up to my tummy today and jumped on it.

this is what came next.

Mahmee: Jude honey, we have to be careful there is a baby in mahmees tummy and we dont wanna hurt it. you should come and say sorry to mahmee and the baby.

Jude: sorry baby. ....*pause* can i come love it?

Mahmee: yes of course!

You come to lay down and cuddles with my belly.

Jude:"i love my girls." :]

love my babies! :]

a little later you flop down on a pillow and say

Jude: "my tummy hurts. it hurts real bad."

Mahmee: "oh no baby, your tummy hurts? why does it hurt?"

Jude: "yeah it hurts. there is a baby in it."

im listenign to you play in your room right now. how nice for you to have your own space to learn and grow!

i bought you some more spanish books and things for us to read. i think i might go read to you some elmo.

love being home with you. you have the best daddy for letting me stay here with you for awhile!

Reservoir fun!

so this summer mahmee has vowed to get you in the water and out of the house. not working gives me lots of free time! :]

this is where we've been going! its the reservoir (man made body of water) in Silverton (where you were born, and one of mahmee and daddys favorite cities!

we hope to live there one day and really hope that your little brother or sister is born there too :]
